At Pawsitively Fit we take the need to prevent Covid-19 in the community we serve very seriously. There are many things we have put in place to limit the potential spread of illness. These include
Screening for Covid-19 symptoms
Wearing a mask for appointments
Treating outdoors when possible
Sanitizing all equipment
Frequent hand hygiene
We also understand that not everyone is comfortable with in person appointments at this time. Pawsitively Fit also offers the option of Telerehab through Cliniko. When a telerehab appointment is booked, you are sent an email with a link to join the appointment. Click it and that’s it! No other programs to download or register for! As long as you have a webcam, microphone and internet connection you are ready to go! Questions about security with Cliniko? Check out more info here.
Our goal remains the same…to help healthy senior dogsstay active, without pain, so that they can have more days with their owners to do the things they love!
Update January 14 – Under the new Stay At Home order issued by the Government of Ontario, Pawsitively Fit continues to operate.
We have reviewed the guidelines released by the government which allow for “26. Obtaining goods or services that are necessary for the health or safety of an animal, including obtaining veterinary services”
We continue to follow our safety protocols which have only increased since the spring of 2020.
Update December 26 – We have reviewed the directives from the Ontario Government to determine where Pawsitively Fit falls. Allowed to remain open are “Other businesses that provide for the health and welfare of animals…”
This will allow Pawsitively Fit to continue operating during the provincial lockdown. We will continue to practice in a manner that protects us and our clients including masking, screening and cleaning equipment.
We realize that not everyone will be comfortable continuing in-person appointments over the coming weeks. Appointments can be postponed or moved virtually without penalty.
As always, our goal is to ensure the best care for your dogs.
