We are very excited at Pawsitively Fit to be able to offer Telerehab! With the concerns over the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to offer dog owners an option that allowed them to maintain physical distancing while still receiving the care they need. This means you can access canine rehab from ANYWHERE as long as you have a computer and internet access.
Pawsitively Fit is using Cliniko for telerehab. When a telerehab appointment is booked, you are sent an email with a link to join the appointment. Click it and that’s it! No other programs to download or register for! As long as you have a webcam, microphone and internet connection you are ready to go! Questions about security with Cliniko? Check out more info here.
So how would these virtual appointments work?
Our procedures are being maintained much the same as they would if we were doing an in person appointment. If you are a new client, we usually start off with a telephone consult to make sure our services and your needs match. Then we would schedule an appointment time. For a virtual appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment link. The appointment then proceeds much the same as it would in person, except now we are in different rooms. Our resident dog Maggie will be helping to demonstrate anything that needs to be shown. You will receive education and any exercises, hands-on skills or other recommendations you may need to reach the goals you have for your dog.

Appointments are completely virtual!
Our goal remains the same…to help HEALTHY SENIOR DOGS stay active, without pain, so that they can have more days with their owners to do the things they love!
